German Composition

This is my German composition for this week (pre-grading/corrections)

Mein mann, Jacob, liebt zu lernen. Er liebt zu Sprachen lernen. Und er will Deutschland wohnen. Ich liebe mein Mann, damit ich lerne Deutsche. Meine Lehrerin sagt um Fasching. Deutschland hört sich gut!

The House is Done!

We finished it! The house is done!

Some of you may remember that we had some damage from the tornado last April.

The house has been *almost* done since before Thanksgiving. Jacob and our friends and family worked so hard to replace a roof, and one side siding, plus a lot of fence repairs.


But the last couple screws, an electrical box cover, and some shutter painting - we just kept putting it off. We finally got the last bit of work done this weekend and wow it is such a weight off my shoulders.

Oh dear friends and family, who worked, prayed, encouraged, loved and got us through these repairs. And still came and visited us when our house was in shambles.


But most especially to all the people who got out on a ladder in the sun. We are so loved and supported.
